Dr. Ewan Goligher is a physician, physiologist, and intensivist at the Toronto Western hospital's Drembil Research Institute. He obtained his MD from the University of British Columbia and trained in internal medicine and critical care medicine at the University of Toronto.

His research program focuses broadly on the clinical impact of physiological interactions between the respiratory muscles, the acutely injured lung, and the mechanical ventilator.
